Feges BBQ Spring Branch Halloween Festival
October 29 | 3-6 p.m.

Celebrate a family-friend Halloween at Feges BBQ Spring Branch! Kids of all ages can enjoy Cupcake’s Haunted House, an oversized bounce house, a pumpkin decorating station, Dragon’s Nest play area, and Hocus Pocus (PG) will be playing on all the screens.

Zoo Boo

Houston Zoo
The Houston Zoo invites all little ghouls and goblins to celebrate fall festivities during its month-long Zoo Boo presented LyondellBasell. From Oct. 1 – 31 guests can wear their best costumes for Houston’s favorite merry-not-scary Halloween event.  

This year’s Zoo Boo features a few new experiences updated for the current times. Guests will visit the Giant Pumpkin presented by LyondellBasell, Spooky Train sponsored by Texas Children’s Hospital, and the Carved Pumpkins sponsored by Frost Bank.

NEW THIS YEAR:

• Glowing lights in the Bug House during the day and during Zoo Boo After Hours.
• Spooky-themed lights in African Forest.
• An interactive dance floor inside the John P. McGovern Children’s Zoo during Zoo Boo After Hours.

Picking the perfect pumpkin can be quite a task. Luckily, Houston is packed with patches all over the city. Try Old Time Christmas Tree Farm, Dewberry Farm, Blessington Farms, or Oil Ranch for prime pumpkin picking, hayrides, and other activities. Searching for the perfect costume? Houston Scream Fest
Weekends in October, and Nov. 2022
The Houston Scream Fest is more than a haunted house; it’s a month-long festival. Shoot at walking dead zombies with paintball markers, try to escape the asylum, scream your way through the castle of doom, and more. Also, enjoy live music and freak show performances.

Haunted Trails
Oct. 2- Oct. 31, 2022
Walk the trails of Houston’s most thrilling outdoor attraction. Haunted Trails features detailed sets, zombies, clowns, and other creeps, body parts, creepy crawlers, and more. Find out what lurks beyond the trees on select weekdays, every weekend in October, plus Halloween night.

Houston Terror Dome
Weekends in October, 2022
In its opening year, The Houston Chronicle billed the Terror Dome as the “Scariest Haunted House In Houston.” Get ready to scream your way out – if you make it that far. With new effects, rooms, and actors this year, Terror Dome is intense enough to satisfy the most demanding scaremonger.

Phobia
Weekends in October
With eight haunts, Phobia can scare just about anyone. Features include the Mind Control haunt, Simon Fowler Woods, ClaustroPhobia, Darke Institute, and Dawn of the Machine. The remodeled park boasts 30 acres of scare space.

Food & Restaurant Events

Doris Metropolitan
Events are kicking off early at the Israeli steakhouse, Doris Metropolitan, they are hosting their annual Vampire Ball on October 27th. Costumes are encouraged, as there will be a contest for the best costume. Patrons can also enjoy a DJ, drink specials, and festive decorations. 

PUCCI Cafe
A brand new cafe and dog boutique is celebrating the pooches this October. Customers can shop for Halloween-themed bandanas for their dogs, as well as festive treats. More details to come!

Monkey’s Tail 
Celebrate Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos at Monkey’s Tail with a weekend of fun. Festivities kick off October 27th with Day of the Dead Ofrenda and themed drink specials. This will take place until November 2nd. On Saturday, October 29th, Drag Brunch will take place from 12 pm to 2 pm on their back patio. The fun doesn’t end there. On Sunday, October 30th, compete for prices with a dog costume contest from 3 pm to 4 pm. Stick around DJ Beat Sicarios entertains from 4 pm to 7 pm. On Halloween night, customers can sip on themed cocktails and indulge in some post-trick-or-treat steak night for $20. 

On Tuesday, November 1st, Monkey’s Tail’s famous tamales launch for the season. Enjoy 6 for $9 or 12 for $16.

El Venado 
El Venado is serving up Halloween-themed cocktails and drink specials the weekend before the big day. On Saturday, October 29th, the restaurant will be decorated for the occasion and will host a costume contest. Enjoy the celebration with live music and more. 

Spanish Village 
Spanish Village will be celebrating Dia de Los Muertos all week long. From November 1-5th, the iconic Houston restaurant will be offering a separate specialty menu in addition to the permanent menu. The menu includes: 

• Chimichanga [$13.95]: The fried chimichanga is made with ground beef or shredded chicken and is served with chipotle sauce, rice, and beans 

• Burrito [$13.95]: This packed burrito is made with flour tortillas, ground meat, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, and jack cheese and is served with rice and beans 

• Stuffed Chicken Breast [$15.99]: This delicious stuffed chicken breast is made with spinach and jack cheese, topped with a wine mushroom sauce and served with poblano rice and vegetables.

Pier 6 Celebrates Two Years with a Halloweeniversary Bash
Since opening in San Leon in a chicly renovated space with spacious waterfront patios overlooking Galveston Bay, Pier 6 Seafood & Oyster House has served up some of the freshest oysters and seafood in town and seriously fun vibes. Owner Raz Halili knows how to celebrate and ensure the restaurant goes big for every occasion. Thanks to an initial launch of the brand on Halloween weekend, Pier 6 gets to celebrate its anniversary every year with an epic Halloween bash. This year, they'll be celebrating Friday through Sunday, with different daily themes, spooky decor, drink specials, plenty of music and prizes for best costumes.
