Houston — it’s a little bit country and a little bit rock n’ roll. We’ve got the Space City face of Houston, ever looking to the future with the hustle and bustle of a major metropolitan city. We’ve also got the Bayou City face of Houston, a sprawling greenspace connected by bayous until you reach the Gulf of Mexico. There are over 400 wineries in the great state of Texas alone, and the largest city in Texas can certainly show you a thing or two about wine.

You’ll find a vast array of Houston wineries near you practically any place you stay, with urban wineries just as plentiful as the wineries on the outskirts of town with more of a vineyard feel. 

The Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail holds five events every year that feature seven wineries around the greater Houston area. From tasting menus at romantic bed and breakfast wineries to glasses of rose on a sunny patio downtown for happy hour, Houston’s all about options. Cheers to weekend wine adventures!
