The Heights is home to one of the oldest breweries in Houston, Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company.
The brewery upgraded to a new location in 2019 featuring a three-story, 28,000-square-foot facility. Hosting a capacity of 50,000 barrels a year the restaurant seats 200 and serves more than 70 beers on tap. The restaurant features items for all dietary restrictions including vegetarian and vegan. Though, there are plenty of options for meat eaters too, including a barbeque burger and a buttermilk brined and country fried chicken breast with coleslaw, pickles and secret sauce.
The third floor of the brewery features a patio with stunning views of Downtown Houston. A lively choice for those looking to enjoy an afternoon of eating and drinking, Buff Brew, as the locals call it, will not disappoint beer connoisseurs.
