Italy meets Texas at this chic Montrose eatery. Under the direction of Chef Adam Garcia, the restaurant is the perfect spot for a casual bite and glass of vino.

Rosie Cannonball’s menu features five delicious pizzas ranging from the traditional (pepperoni, three cheese) to the gourmet (speck and chili oil, smoked trout roe, and fennel sausage). The restaurant’s wood-burning grill also puts out tasty vegetables like roasted eggplant and charred leeks, as well as, hearty meat options. The menu also contains pasta dishes, salads and shareable starters.

The 2,500-square-foot restaurant is decorated with earth tones and sprinkled with succulents and cacti in terra cotta pots. The bar and kitchen are adorned with red tiles that evoke the essence of 1960s Italian bars. The light blue booths are cool and inviting with enough space for the whole family.

Rosie Cannonball is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to “late” and on Sundays from 5 p.m. to “late.” It is closed on Mondays.
