Superica

Native Houston chef, Ford Fry, opened his long-awaited restaurant, Superica, in the Houston Heights in September 2018. The Houston outpost of his Atlanta restaurant by the same name offers diners a mix of Tex-Mex classics such as tacos, tamales and fajitas, and traditional Mexican dishes such as pozole and menudo.

Chef Kevin Maxey, an East Texan, will be at the helm of the restaurant. At the wood paneled bar, visitors can enjoy an ample selection of beers, wines and tequilas, as well as cocktails, including margaritas, which can be enjoyed frozen or on the rocks.

Superica is open for dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and brunch from Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
