Bubba's Texas Burger Shack

One wouldn't normally associate a little shack under the Westpark Tollway with hordes of devoted restaurant regulars. But this is Bubba's, where the staff is friendly, the Saint Arnold ice-cold and the burgers are buffalo. The menu is mainly burgers (buffalo meat even leaner than turkey) in addition to chili and a must-try jalapeno potato salad. There are a handful of tables in the patriotically decorated restaurant, but opt to sit on a picnic table out front.

Don't expect to find fries or onion rings on the menu. Just chips.

Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 2pm to 7pm and features $2 beers.
